Nursery

Our specialist Native Food Nursery stocks a wide range of edible Australian native bush food plants, including a number of rare species like strawberry gum, male and female Illawarra Plum and male & female Mt Pepper,(see our current stock on the Nursery page). We can supply a wide range of native foods plants for school and community kitchen gardens  from small herbs to trees. We can also supply advanced stock of some species on order.

Purchase and Pickup

Orders need to be emailed to info@peppermintridgefarm.com.au or call us to discuss your requirements. We can also contract grow for large orders.

Plants are sold at the farm gate (subject to COVID restrictions that may be in place) or delivery can be arranged throughout Victoria only (Minimum of 6 plants). Pick up by appointment (call first please on  03 59428580) or arrange  by email (info@peppermintridgefarm.com.au).

We are approximately 1 hour east of Melbourne, and 30 minutes west of Warragul on the Princes Freeway (a link to our Google Maps location and Melways reference is at the bottom of this page).

Spices and Teas for use at Home

If you don’t have a green thumb, but would still like to cook with the flavours of fresh native Australian plants, don’t worry! We supply native spices from several of these species for you to use in your home cooking.

Consulting Services

We offer a wide range of consulting services including advice and design of native food gardens  to a range of clients including schools, kindergartens, community centres and private clients. We can also supply the native food plants as an all inclusive service.

NEWS FROM THE FARM

  • We have limited quantities of freshly picked finger limes available-200g and 500g. PURCHASE HERE!
  • The nursery now stocks a wide range of advanced native food plants including sexed mountain peppers, strawberry gum, lemon myrtle, finger lime and anise myrtle!
  • We provide a complete native food garden design service for schools, early learning centres and community groups. We can assist with plant selection and garden design, through to supply and delivery of plants from our nursery. Our interpretive signs provide valuable information about the plants, adding to the educational value of the gardens.

Our presentations to libraries and community groups provide an opportunity to learn more about Australia’s wonderful native food plants:

  • growing and propagating native food plants

We also attend a number of field days, garden expos and festivals across Victoria.
