Mountain Pepper (Tasmannia lanceolata)

Description

The Mountain Pepper leaves contain more of the hot pepper oil Polygodial and much more of the health benefits than the berries which are borne on the female plant. Just chop the fresh leaves finely and add to any dish to give a pepper zing. So it doesn’t really matter if you have a male or female plant as they both have the delicious leaves. If you want to increase your chances of getting both sexes then buy three plants as each seed grown plant has a 50:50 chance of being either male or female. I will have sexed plants later in 2019 but the price will be $20 each.
