Nursery

Purchase and Pickup/Delivery

Through our online store, you can purchase plants from our nursery securely through PayPal. Local pickup from our Farm in Tynong North, Victoria is free. We are approximately 1 hour east of Melbourne, and 30 minutes west of Warragul on the M1 (a link to our Google Maps location and Melways reference is at the bottom of this page).

Please note we no longer ship plants-farm pick up only.

Spices and Teas for use at Home

If you don’t have a green thumb, but would still like to cook with the flavours of fresh native Australian plants, don’t worry! We supply native spices from several of these species for you to use in your home cooking.

Consulting Services

We also provide consulting services to those needing assistance successfully planting bush food gardens. Our extensive and diverse backgrounds in environmental science, sustainability, land management, and project management enable us to provide services to a range of private clients and organizations.

We have worked for clients on many projects including:

  • Kitchen and bush food garden design and planting for community gardens, schools and kindergartens.
  • Sustainable property and garden design with a focus on the use of indigenous plants
  • Ecological surveys
  • Bush food garden design
  • Low water and organic vegetable gardens.

There is lots happening at the farm with a range of fruits ripening beautifully at this time of year. Finger limes, native elderberry and native tamarind are doing particularly well as too are the mountain pepperberries.

We do a lot of presentations at Libraries. Julie’s presentations provide an opportunity to learn more about Australia’s wonderful native food plants:

– Which plants will grow best in your garden
– How to grow and propagate them
– How to use them in everyday cooking
